Guru Ram Das Ji Sakhi

Guru Ram Das Sakhi aap is about Guru Ram Das life and his Stories. Guru Ram Das was the fourth of the ten Gurus of Sikhism. He was born on 24 September 1534 in a poor Hindu family based in Lahore, part of now Pakistan. His birth name was Jetha, he was orphaned at age 7, and thereafter grew up with his maternal grandmother in a village.

At age 12, Bhai Jetha and his grandmother moved to Goindval, where they met Guru Amar Das. The boy there after accepted Guru Amar Das as mentor and served him. The daughter of Guru Amar Das married Bhai Jetha, and he thus became part of Guru Amar Das's family. As with the first two Gurus of Sikhism,Guru Amar Das instead of choosing his own sons, chose Bhai Jetha as his successor and renamed him as Ram Das or "servant or slave of god (Rama)"

Guru Ram Das Sakhi aap ist über Guru Ram Das Leben und seine Geschichten. Guru Ram Das war der vierte der zehn Gurus des Sikhismus. Er wurde am 24. September 1534 in einer armen Hindu-Familie mit Sitz in Lahore, ein Teil der heutigen Pakistan geboren. Sein Geburtsname war Jetha, wurde er im Alter von verwaisten 7 und wuchs danach mit seiner Großmutter mütterlicherseits in einem Dorf auf.

Im Alter von 12, Bhai Jetha und seine Großmutter zog nach Goindval, wo sie Guru Amar Das traf. Der Junge dort nach Guru Amar Das als Mentor akzeptiert und diente ihm. Die Tochter von Guru Amar Das verheiratet Bhai Jetha, und er wurde so Teil von Guru Amar Das der Familie. Wie bei den ersten beiden Gurus des Sikhismus, Guru Amar Das, anstatt seine eigenen Söhne der Wahl, entschied sich Bhai Jetha als seinen Nachfolger und umbenannt ihn als Ram Das oder "Diener oder Sklave Gottes (Rama)"
